Capstone video journey cont....

My next steps in producing my capstone video are cleaning up and refining everything to try to make it as crisp as possible.
Getting the opportunity to create so many drafts allowed us to take our time so now that we are at the end we know exactly what we want to use, say and do as far as editing. I learned a new way to improve each week on my draft largely in part to do with the amazing feedback I received.
Through my process I did struggle with purchasing software but the more I continued to work on my drafts and get encouragement and suggestions in class I am happy with what I came up with Adobe Spark.
I think one of the best parts was letting our students be apart of the video. No matter the age group we all have the kids still love helping their teacher.

Crisp is the word I would use to describe my video editing woes as well. For some reason (probably because I have an older iphone) the videos I have are a little blurry once I send them to my computer/wevideo. I know we are supposed to have a very good quality video, but that is the one thing that I don't think I can solve without buying a new phone or camera.
I also appreciate the ability to have multiple drafts, although I would much rather do it right the first time, this is a project that has a huge learning curve and even our final final finished product is not going to be perfect to our standards because of time and our inexperience. In the end I think we will all be proud of what we accomplished.

Perfection is not the goal, learning is! All of you are modeling great learning as you struggle in the learning pit. We're at the finish line. You got this, lady!

Alexis,
Your start and ideas are great. I’m very excited to see your video with the small changes you plan to do to it. I’m also excited that we have did so many videos throughout this program so now we can use all the tools and tricks on this finally one. It is taking longer to make then I thought but I feel that I have a good start just like you so far. That’s awesome that you are incorporating your students in the film them must be having a blast.
